Every ABIH Diplomate is expected to practice ethical behavior to the best of their abilities. Each Diplomate commited to do this when initially certified and the commitment is repeated during each CM cycle.
In 2010, ABIH implemented a new rule which requires that all Diplomates have at least 2 hours of ethics training each CM cycle. See Category 4.
A Diplomate found to be in violation of the Code of Ethics will be subject to a range of sanctions up to and including de-certification. Diplomates with current sanctions are posted.
See the CM Ethics definition and CM FAQ for acceptable 'ethics' subject matter.
