The American Board of Industrial Hygiene was organized to improve the practice and educational standards of the IH profession.
The validity and relevance of test items (a.k.a. questions) on the certification examination is of tremendous importance to the certification process. These help determine the success of the examination in measuring each applicant's knowledge in the field of IH. ABIH depends on well-written test items by practitioners of the field to help accomplish this goal to ensure relevancy and currency of the exam.
ABIH periodically offers Question Writing Workshops in conjunction with ABIH Local Sections. Alternately, interested Diplomates may submit questions directly to:
